Re Rating

The Re-Rating service modifies the prices of TAP file call records to apply discount agreements easily.

EDCH’s Re-Rating service assists operators by applying new prices directly within the TAP files, thus requiring no changes to be made on the billing system. For operators who have concluded a preferred Roaming Agreement, re-rating call records to the discounted price simplifies the reconciliation and settlement procedures.

Operators who charge their own subscribers by adding a mark-up to TAP file call charges can also benefit, by using the re-rating service to apply promotions, or to experiment with new price plans.
